Final Cut Pro First Attempt

After buying a Canon XH A1 camcorder a couple of months ago, I finally got round to buying the hardware and software to let me edit the hd video footage it generates, by buying a Mac Pro and a copy of Final Cut Studio 2 last week.

I found a video site http://www.vimeo.com which lets you upload and host HD movies. I was able to get some footage to add to the railway page on https://www.virtual-swanage.co.uk/things-to-do/local-attractions/swanage-railway

I had 6 of Apples "Apple Pro Training Series" books come from Amazon so it looks like I will be spending the next few months learning how to use Final Cut Pro and also Logic Pro to get the best out of this camcorder and all the other video and audio editing software!
